It’s hard to say when my love affair with cupcakes began, but that love is real and it’s strong. Every year, someone makes my favorite Funfetti cupcakes for my birthday. That someone is usually my mom, but this year my mom and my friends Steph and Jen also made some. Three sets of cupcakes made for the perfect start to my 28th year. My friends know me well and know that my happy place is located wherever there are cupcakes.

Good burritos aren’t hard to find in the ICT. In fact, there are so many varieties available that it’s nearly impossible to go wrong. Wichita is home to some amazing Mexican eateries. Fortunately, they all serve some delicious burritos. Here are a few of my favorites:

Another one of my favorite Wichita restaurants would have to be Bella Luna. It is among many Mediterranean inspired joints that this city has to offer, with its own unique twist.
In my few years of residing in Wichita, Bella Luna has been a “go-to” place for many occasions. It’s a great place to get together for lunch with co-workers or friends, somewhere to grab an after-work drink special, or even celebrate a special occasion. I recently dined at Bella Luna for lunch and dinner, both equally as good for different reasons.
