[think] Exploring Different Religions in Wichita

“You’re in college, that’s what’s supposed to happen.”
This is what my friend tells me when I vent to her about how confused I am something or how I’m not sure what I believe. While she’s right and I should probably stop trying to have it all figured out at age 20, I’m definitely in the middle of those “turbulent years of finding myself.” I attribute a huge part of my personal growth to my spiritual curiosity, whether it’s making sure my Chakras are aligned or simply wanting to learn …

[help] Low-Cost Health Care in Wichita

Most of us don’t have time to get sick. Taking time away from work and family responsibilities isn’t an option for many. And while Groundhog Day may tell us winter is on the way out, being a target for both seasonal and non-seasonal illnesses never lets up.
Everyone knows that getting sick sucks. Worse, everyone knows that paying for getting sick sucks. Yes, there are assistance programs out there, but many of them seem to be open to only a certain income bracket or only available to single-parent families or individuals …

While most moms are all about the excitement of eating out at a unique or interesting restaurant, most dads don’t need cute and quaint. They want a good meal. If there’s something attention-grabbing (college basketball season, anyone) going on, they want to be able to watch it. If there’s not, a pool table, Mega Touch, or darts never hurt anyone.
If you need a place to watch the game or just enjoy the sports-bar feel, there’s A.J. Sports Grill at 29th and Rock. A.J.’s is a great multiple-man gathering place, …

[shop] Local Pet Store Picks

Some of us prefer children that don’t talk back or come with the looming college education price tag. While my life may never be a suitable environment for a child, I can’t help but smile every time I think of my “baby.” My Dalmatian, named after my favorite designer, Betsey Johnson, is one of the few people in the world who I feel really “gets” me. She’s the best listener and tug of war partner I know. Of course, if you’re a pet owner, you know what I mean. (OK, …
