Today’s boxed wine isn’t your grandma’s Franzia. It’s inexpensive, stays fresh for weeks and is easy on the environment. And, believe it or not, it’s good.

During my stint as a dating columnist for another publication earlier this year, I became a bit of an expert in the art of the first date. Why? You might say I’m a bit of a pizza connoisseur. In search of a good culinary challenge last summer, I experimented with different pizza dough recipes, making my own marinara sauce and trying different topping combinations. At this point, I make a pretty mean pie.
