[primp] Happy Feet: Great Pedicure Spots

When you want to be pampered, but don’t want to spend big bucks on a massage, a good pedicure can be the next best thing. The Wichita nail salons listed below are some of my favorites (and least favorites). And men, you may think this information doesn’t apply to you, but just try it. I think you’ll like it.
Dashing Diva’s Nails – I’m starting with this one because it is absolutely, hands down, my favorite nail place of all time. I first discovered the salon, located at 11330 E. Central …

[drink] Signature Drinks: Oeno

Drink #1: Raspberry Orange Mojito (made with Raspberry Bacardi and fresh squeezed orange)
Price: $8
Why they think it’s special: “This drink is good because of the stress we put on quality,” Jennifer Minor, Oeno’s hospitality director, says. “When you come here, you’re going to get the best. Upon learning that it was my first trip into the store, she walked me around, pointing out cute jewelry and clothing. She made a great first impression and so did the store.
Although some of their items can get a bit pricey, there is a lot to love about the store. Here are some of owner Brooke Greene’s …

[wear] How to Adopt High School Fashion without Looking Like an Idiot

I spend time with some of the most fashionable people in Wichita every day – high school girls. From the way they personalize their uniforms to the way they can make jeans and a school T-shirt look like high fashion, it’s apparent these girls know how to put an outfit together.
My own high school fashion career was spotty at best, as most people who went to school in the ’90s can probably relate to. The flannel shirts and chunky shoes would definitely not stand up to today’s standards. But now, …
