28 June 2010 by verb [ICT] staff 12 Comments

go kartIt’s almost July and summer is in full swing. If your kids are like mine, they’re in full-on frenzy mode. Luckily Wichita has a ton of things to do to keep those little bodies busy.

All Star Sports West wants you to come check out all they have to offer, including arcade games, bowling, laser tag, bumper boats, go-karts, mini golf and more. They even have a few things for the tiny tykes, including kiddie karts and mini air hockey.

verb [ICT] is giving away two family fun-packs. Two winners will receive four $10 “All Star Sports Bucks” redeemable for all attractions including arcade tokens. Each prize is a $40 value, good only at the All Star Sports West location (8333 W. 21st Street North).

To enter, leave a comment with a valid e-mail address about why you should win, or tell us your favorite classic arcade game.

Winners will be chosen at random using the Random Number Generator. The deadline to enter is this Friday, July 2, at noon. Good luck!

Why – cuz family fun isn’t always cheap, and this would be a nice treat for the kiddos.
Old School Game – Missle Command. That game was (is) annoyingly addictive.

Ooh, if I won I’d take the kiddo and Feral Child (and if you follow me on Twitter you know why the latter could use it).

Favorite arcade game would have to be Joust. Not because I was any good at it (never spent enough quarters to be), but because a quarter or two was enough to uncontrollably bounce that stupid bird off enough obstacles to induce hysterical giggles in all observers. Cheap therapy.

Go-karts are just that much fun, and I’m a bigger fan of pinball machines than arcade games.

Love Skee ball! There’s nothing better than seeing those tickets spit out of the machine.

Well, I’m a stay-at-home mom and don’t get to take the kiddos out to do AWESOME things like this because we don’t always have a lot of extra cash. My favorite arcade games are Pac-Mac and skee ball. I don’t claim talent in many areas, but I rock those two games.

My kids always want to go to All Star but we rarely do because of the costs. It’s always a treat and great family time together! AND I’m a beast on the go-cart track!
