Every week, we feature a few adorable, adoptable pets from the Kansas Humane Society and dare you to resist their cute lil’ faces. Want to bring one of these loveable cats or dogs home with you? Visit KHS from 11 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 1 – 5 pm Sunday. Have a happy adoption story to tell? Email us ateditors@verbict.com and we might feature you in an upcoming post.

Hilda

Hilda, a 8 month old Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix, is playful, curious and loves to have people around! Her adoption fees are discounted since she is a member of the Lonely Hearts Club!

carmen

Carmen, a 7 year old Labrador Retriever mix, is good with kids and other dogs! She is looking for a new family interested in fun activities such as walks in the park, playing fetch and of course letting her cuddle up with them at night. She is a Lonely Hearts Club member, her adoption fees are discounted!

Billy_Max

Billy, a 2 year old Terrier/Dachshund mix, loves to play with his toys! He would do best in a home without small children. A Lonely Hearts Club Member too, his adoption fee is discounted!

Rusty

Rusty, a 10 year old Terrier mix, is house trained and a Lonely Hearts Club member. He has lived with older kids, dogs and cats too. Rusty would make a great addition to your family!
