[adopt] A New Friend from the Kansas Humane Society
Every week, we feature a few adorable, adoptable pets from the Kansas Humane Society and dare you to resist their cute lil’ faces. Want to bring one of these loveable cats or dogs home with you? Visit KHS from 11 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 1 – 5 pm Sunday. Have a happy adoption story to tell? Email us at editors@verbict.com and we might feature you in an upcoming post.
Brooklyn, a 6-year-old Basset Hound Mix, is a little older but that just means he has more experience in life. He is very loving, people oriented and loves to go on daily walks. He’s a Lonely Hearts Club member, so his adoption fee is discounted to $75.
Sue, a 4-year-old Domestic Short Hair, is a very happy and friendly gal who would like a nice home to call her own. This big girl has a lot of love to give and has a waived adoption fee. All cats 9-months-and-older have their adoption fee waived.
Bullseye, a 1-year-old Pointer Mix, really enjoys his treats and toys. He is very motivated to earn his treats, so he would do really well with some training. He already knows “sit” and is also a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, so his adoption fee is discounted to $75.
Tyson, a 10-month-old Pointer Mix, is a very handsome and active boy who comes to you already housetrained. He has also lived with children, so he could transition into a new family easily. He’s a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, so his adoption fee is discounted to $75.
