One of the P.A.’s I work with got some awesome one’s at Dillard’s this fall. I have to order mine online, due to my enormous calfs (or is it calves?)…so I go for David Tate, wherever I can find him. His boots go up to 21 inches wide! If you have ever been an athlete, you know that all that bulk you had as a teen and is now covered with your post-baby fat makes boot building darn near impossible.

Also, we’ve gotten good boot deals at Tractor Supply- and not just western boots! There have been some Ugg knock offs there, and some dressier sueded boots.

Also, don’t forget the consignment shops and thrift shops. Often people buy boots but end up never wearing them. I’ve bought boots for my kids and myself with tags still on them, or that were obviously nearly 100% new-no wear on the bottom, not a single scuff or flaw, for less than $30 at the Salvation Army or the DAV. You can NOT beat that, and the profits are helping people. Warm fuzzies all around!

Good boots are so hard to find without breaking the bank. I was lucky and scored some tall suede ones at Delias.com a couple years back for $40, and they are my cold weather staple. Plus, they look sexy and awesome with tights and dresses. Gotta have dem boots! Any suggestions where I can find more for less than $100?
