[adopt] a New Friend from the Kansas Humane Society
Every week, we feature a few adorable, adoptable pets from the Kansas Humane Society and dare you to resist their cute lil’ faces. Want to bring one of these loveable cats or dogs home with you? Visit KHS from 11 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 1 – 5 pm Sunday. Have a happy adoption story to tell? Email us at editors@verbict.com and we might feature you in an upcoming post.
Freckles, a 2-year-old Pointer Mix, is a playful guy who is looking for someone to take him on walks and other fun adventures. After those walks, he’d like nothing more than to curl up for cuddle time. He’s part of the Lonely Hearts Club, so his adoption fee is discounted to $75.
Sir Bacon, a 1-year-old Guinea Pig, is one of many in our growing small mammal selection. He’s very sweet and would make a great first pet, or apartment companion. He’s currently living in a small mammal studio and has an adoption fee of $20.
Curco, an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever/Border Collie Mix, is a social butterfly so he is extremely friendly and playful. He was also raised around other pets, so he has experience getting along with others. He is a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, so his adoption fee is discounted to $75.
Dallas, a 3-month-old Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow mix, is just as cute and sweet as can be with a personality as big as the state of Texas. She has been at the Kansas Humane Society since before Christmas, and is ready to find a forever home with lots of love. She is a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, so her adoption fee is discounted to $75.
