The Palette in the Delano District is tiny but mighty with the sandwich. Their chicken salad sandwich is my favorite, followed closely by meatloaf. They also have a meatball sandwich and grilled cheese made with two tasty cheeses. They have a combo deal with a sandwich and either their soup of the week or a salad. A muffin of the week and a selection of decadent desserts complete the meal. They’re open from early morning to 2pm.

I’ve never tried Metro Grill, Watermark, Moe’s or Mead’s Corner. Thanks for all the good suggestions, guys. This town is full of good sandwich places. Love it!

Watermark’s Tarragon Chicken Salad sandwich is a must. Plus they have a coffee bar. Plus it is a book store. Plus they have great desserts. Case Closed.

I am a huge Caffe Moderne fan when it comes to sandwiches as well. I’ve also been meaning to try out the Artichoke Sandwich Bar.
