[adopt] a New Friend from the Kansas Humane Society
Every week, we feature a few adorable, adoptable pets from the Kansas Humane Society and dare you to resist their cute lil’ faces. Want to bring one of these loveable cats or dogs home with you? Visit KHS from 11 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 1 – 5 pm Sunday. Have a happy adoption story to tell? Email us at editors@verbict.com and we might feature you in an upcoming post.

Scooby, a 7-month-old Labrador Retriever Mix, is an active dog who is very sweet and loves to be around people. He knows how to smile, especially when it’s time for play and snacks. He is part of the Lonely Hearts Club which means his adoption fee $75.

Tiger, a 6-year-old Domestic Short Hair, isn’t a big fan of being picked up but loves to be close by your side. She will need some extra time to adjust to her new surroundings, because she’s a bit shy at first. Cats 9-months-old and older have their adoption fee temporarily waived.

Uno, a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever Mix, is a very affectionate gal hoping for a forever home with a yard to run and play in and of course someone to love. She’s a Lonely Hearts Club Member, so she has a discounted adoption fee of $75.

Gracie, a 4-year-and-6 month-old Beagle mix, will come to you already housetrained and sweet as can be. She needs a home where she will have a constant companion. She absolutely adores her belly rub. She’s very well-behaved and also a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, so she will have a discounted adoption fee of $75.

Buster, a 2-year-old Beagle Mix, is a happy dog looking for a long-term relationship with a new family. He already knows sit and come, too. Because he is such a hot dog lover, he would more than willing to learn more. He is also part of the Lonely Hearts Club which means his adoption fee $75.
