[adopt] a New Friend from the Kansas Humane Society

28 December 2009 by verb [ICT] staff No Comment

Every week, we’ll show you a few adorable, adoptable pets from the Kansas Humane Society and dare you to resist their cute lil’ faces. Want to bring one of these loveable cats or dogs home with you? Visit KHS from 11 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 1 – 5 pm Sunday. Have a happy adoption story to tell? Email us at editors@verbict.com and we might feature you in an upcoming post.

brownie tylee

Brownie and Tylee, 4-year-old Chihuahuas, have grown up together and would love to be adopted into a new family together. Both are sweet, but a little timid, lap dogs. You can adopt them both for one adoption fee. Both are very mellow, easy-going dogs who would do well in a quiet home.

keyush

Keyush, a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd Mix, was raised around kids and other dogs. He is also housebroken so his transition into a new home should be smooth. He is a Lonely Hearts Club Member, so he had a discounted adoption fee.

tiger

Tiger, a 6-year-old Domestic Short Hair, isn’t a big fan of being picked up but loves to be close by your side. She will need some extra time to adjust to her new surroundings, because she’s a bit shy at first. Cats 9-months-old and older have their adoption fee temporarily waived.
