IMG_2536We may have snow in the forecast, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a tasty, cold treat. Think of it as a gift to yourself for surviving the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

This week, we’re giving away a $10 gift certificate to Mix It Up, the new frozen yogurt shop located downtown at Douglas and Santa Fe.

With flavors like strawberry, lychee, kiwi, taro and mango and a wide variety of toppings ranging from fresh fruit to granola and even mochi balls, there’s a little something for everyone.

To win, simply leave a comment telling us about your favorite frozen yogurt flavor and topping combination and be sure to use a valid email address. On Monday, December 28rd, we’ll choose a winner using the Random Number Generator.

Enter away!

Contest Rules: All entrants must be 18 years of age or older, unless otherwise stated and/or posted. The winner will be chosen at random from comments received. The winner will be notified at the email address used when posting the comment. Only one entry per person. Open to Wichita metro area residents only.

I have to say that I have never had a frozen yogurt creation that didn’t involve candy so I don’t know what my favorite combination is. But I will say those moshi balls look good and I love mango!

    I am a fan of mango and granola. I am looking to try the kiwi though… that looks good ;o}

Ooh they all sound good. I’ve never had this type of frozen yogurt either so a $10 gift certificate would go a long way toward broadening my horizons!

Vanilla and fresh berries – yum!

I’m a “candy bar in the frozen treat” kind of girl, but in a quest to be healthier, I’d go for any fruit flavor with granola or strawberries.

I pretty sure I found the perfect combo the other night that went something like this:
Lychee yogurt, mochi balls, coconut, blackberries, chocolate chips and rainbow jimmies.
It’s perhaps the strangest mix I can think of, but it blends together rather well!

  • Lyndsay said:

    Lots and lots of jimmies!

Strawberry and coconut are my fav. Loving the preggo-friendly giveaways. ;)

My favorite is Taro yogurt with kiwi, strawberry, blackberry, mango, and lychee (basically any combo of the above) :D

Macha yoghurt with kiwi and mochi. Reminds me of Trader Joe’s macha mochi ice cream. Yummy, chewy, and green . . .

As long as there are fruit, nuts and of course chocolate available…I’m good!

    Strawberry with chocolate chips!

I haven’t had fro yo in probably 18 years. I think I have only had vanilla. I want to try the lychee. Sounds yummy.

  • Laura said:

I love strawberry fro-yo with blackberry topping.

  • Dave said:

The only thing I have purchased there was a Boba Tea, which was excellent. I had a taste of the Lychee, so that would be my favorite as of now.

  • Laney said:

I love white chocolate yogurt with cookie crumbles. Not so healthy! :)

  • Andrea said:

Am I the only person who doesn’t know what a lychee is?

I havent had frozen yogurt since I was preggo with my now 12 1/2 year old dot. Loved it as a kid but all the stores kind of dissapeared as I became an adult. Only Baskin Robbins still had it even way back then. I need to try it again and introduce my kids to it.
