Every Friday, we’ll show you a few adorable, adoptable pets from the Kansas Humane Society and dare you to resist their cute lil’ faces. Want to bring one of these loveable cats or dogs home with you? Visit KHS from 11 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 1 – 5 pm Sunday. Have a happy adoption story to tell? Smokie, a 4-year-old Domestic Medium Hair, is a beautiful girl who is a tad spooked by her current surroundings. She’s ready for a home to get comfortable in and nice warm spot on the couch to curl up on. Cats 9-months-old and older have their adoption fee waived.

Mickey, a 6-year-old German Shepherd Mix, has the sweetest demeanor and is extremely smart too. He knows sit, down, come stay and shake. He would love to go for walks or runs with you. He is a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, so his adoption fee is $75.

Tanner, a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix, is a very loving and smart boy who adores everyone he meets. He knows several commands is eager to learn more once he gets settled in his new home. He is also a member of the Lonely Hearts Club.

George, a 6-year-old Cocker Spaniel, is a shy, handsome boy who warms up very quickly once he’s comfortable with you. He’s just looking for a safe, loving and quiet environment to call home. He’s also a member of the Lonely Hearts Club.
