Tucked away in one of Wichita’s quaint older neighborhoods is a charming home on a tree-lined street.  The house may be unassuming, but looks are deceiving, as this house reverberates with rock ‘n’ roll bombast.  This is the practice space for Black Gasoline.
Black Gasoline is a riff-ready, 70s-fantasy-psychedelia-influenced, shake-your-butt rock band.  How’s that for a label?  The band has been fully entrenched in the Wichita rock scene for quite a few years now.  So what’s left to learn about Black Gasoline? Plenty.

[eat] Easy Holiday Entertaining from a Martha Stewart Wannabe

I’m not going to lie – I love Martha Stewart. I faithfully read Martha Stewart Living, subscribe to the Everyday Food – Dinner Tonight daily recipe and have a copy of Martha’s Rules on my nightstand.
So it goes without saying that I attempt to inject my own little Martha-esque touches to every party I host. At a recent informal cocktail party at my home, I focused on simplicity – from the clean, white serving plates to the uncomplicated, but flavorful dishes. And, frankly, I think Martha would be proud.
