[adopt] a New Friend from the Kansas Humane Society
Every Friday, we’ll show you a few adorable, adoptable pets from the Kansas Humane Society and dare you to resist their cute lil’ faces. Want to bring one of these loveable cats or dogs home with you? Visit KHS from 11 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 1 – 5 pm Sunday. Have a happy adoption story to tell? Email us at editors@verbict.com and we might feature you in an upcoming post.
Sabrina, a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever, is ready to give you lots of love. She’s been at KHS for awhile now, and thinks it’s time to share her life with someone who loves to get out and about. She adores being around people and always has a ready-for-anything type of attitude. She’s a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, which means she has a discounted adoption fee.
Rose, a very sweet Schnauzer/Boston Terrier mix, came to the Kansas Humane Society on her sixth birthday. She is a very well-behaved dog who just wants to please people. She also minds very well and her mix of breeds is known to make a great family dog. She’s a member of our Lonely Hearts Club.
Haus, an 8-year-old Abyssinian, is a beautiful and very affectionate tomcat. He loves to give kisses and is ready to have a lap to snuggle in. Cats 9-months-and-older have their adoption fee temporarily waived.
Denver, a 6-year-old Domestic Short Hair, is a very nice adult cat who has had many years perfecting his purr and friendly personality. He’s in foster care, so please call the Kansas Humane Society if you’re interested in adopting him. Cats 9-months-and-older have their adoption fee temporarily waived.

THANK YOU for adding this feature. I love it. If only I had more room in the house for another loving pet (have three, one cat was a stray and our dog was adopted from KHS). Good luck – I hope these little angels get adopted.
