    Megan Ballway, 25. I have a lot of jobs – Bar Wench at The Anchor, as a freelance make-up artist and I do temp work.
  2. What’s currently stored up on your DVR?
    Oh man… my DVR is so full! The Office, Project Runway, Cold Case Files, Californication, Dexter, Ghost Hunters
  3. If you had to karaoke, what song would you choose?
    I hate karaoke! But if I had to karaoke, it would be
    Friends in Low Places because I know it by heart.
  4. What’s in your pocket?
    Two pens, some paper and a list of strong ales from our Strong Ale Fest
  5. What’s the last movie you saw in the theater?
    Zombieland – it was awesome and one of my teachers from make-up school was part of the film.
  6. What is your best kept secret about Wichita?
    Town & Country Restaurant because I love that place. It’s cheap and so good. And they have pie. They also have the best soda in the world. I tell everyone take there to drink the Pepsi. After they drink it, they’re like, “Oh my God, this is the best soda.”
  7. What’s your vice and where do you go to get it?
    I’m addicted to metaphysics – things like tarot cards. I have 18 tarot card decks and I get my friends hooked on it too. I’m really into astrology and stuff. I go to the White Dove and Borders for tarot cards and books – they have a really good collection of metaphysics.
  8. What’s the last book you read?
    The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson
  9. What’s the one local event you never miss?
    Final Friday, not only because I often work them, but I always make sure to support local arts and music.
  10. Where are you going right now?
    Back to the kitchen to check on some food!

    That is so true about the soda at Town and Country! I’ve been going there on Sundays since I was born, practically. The ham steak is also amazing.
