Thanks for the great advice. I look forward to more tips. The boots, pea coat, and oxford all sound/look great. The jeans sound like a pain in the ass. You are hard core.

Trust me on the APCs. I’m starting to think that raw denim is like a tattoo. The first one is painful but then it becomes an addiction and you either don’t feel the pain or you like it. When I pull on my 1 year old APCs I barely remember the painful first month. Right now I’m breaking in a new pair of Pure Blue Japan xx-005 that are awesome. And are literally from Japan. In only a few weeks they have gone from stiff and rough to quite comfortable.

Man, an oxford, jeans, boots and a peacoat are my winter UNIFORM. That and this dope cotton fleece shawl neck sweater I got from J Crew. Good stuff.
