Pink Saloon had me at hello.
When I first walked into the boutique, located next to Aspen Boutique at Douglas and Oliver, I was greeted ever-so-cheerfully by a cute girl in a yellow dress. Upon learning that it was my first trip into the store, she walked me around, pointing out cute jewelry and clothing. She made a great first impression and so did the store.
Although some of their items can get a bit pricey, there is a lot to love about the store. Here are some of owner Brooke Greene’s favorite things right now, at various price points:
Frye Boots – “These have been around for a long time, but they’re still great boots,” Greene says. Most of these boots are in the $200 range, but I’d say they’re an investment piece.
Stud bracelets - “You can wear multiples of these,” Greene says. “They’re for wrapping and layering.” One of the less expensive items, the bracelets range from $24-$28 a piece.
Wildfox Couture T-shirts – “The style of these shirts is very ‘LA,’” Greene says. Sweet ’80s revival! If you can get away with these cropped T-shirts with animal faces ($70), I say do it. If you’re not into tigers, they have other choices.
Sequined Jackets – This jacket, $180, would be a really cool holiday time piece. You could probably get a lot of mileage out of it at different parties.

I thought I saw an ad that they had TOMS at Pink Saloon. Does anyone know how big their selection is?
Yeah, they do have them. It’s not a huge selection, but the ones they have are cute. My problem when I tried to buy some there was that my size was sold out (I have big feet). It’s definitely worth a shot, though.
